Terms of sale (English section)

These terms apply to the documents sold on the English pages of cotesetcoupes.fr (addresses starting with /en/). The French pages have their own terms of sale (conditions générales de vente).

1. Seller

Lacangel Group, SAS, SIREN 995 268 018, RCS Paris, registered office: 1 rue Marguerin, 75014 Paris, France, EU VAT number: FR21995268018 — administration@lacangel.fr.

The website is published by Clem corp, France.

2. What is sold

Digital documents in PDF format (guides), described on each product page with their content, number of pages, real preview pages and table of contents. Nothing physical is shipped. Each copy carries its order reference and is for the buyer's personal use: copying, sharing and resale are not allowed.

3. Who can buy

The documents are offered to buyers worldwide except buyers resident in the United Kingdom, to whom they are not offered at this time. By paying, you confirm that you are not resident in the United Kingdom.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include French VAT. Payment is made once, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or another method offered on the secure Stripe payment page; there is no subscription and no renewal. Your bank may charge currency conversion fees if your card is not in euros.

Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland). On your bank statement the payment appears with the reference COTESCOUPES (exact layout depends on your bank); the Stripe page and receipt may show the name of the collecting account.

5. Delivery

Delivery is immediate after payment: the download is on the confirmation page and the link is sent to the email address used for payment. The download link stays valid; if you lose it, write to the seller with the email address used for payment.

6. Right of withdrawal

For consumers resident in the European Union, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content once its supply has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code). By clicking the payment button, you ask for immediate access to the PDF and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal ends once access has started. The order confirmation email restates this.

7. Conformity

The documents must match their description. If a file is defective, incomplete or does not match the product page, write to the seller: we will send a corrected file or refund you. This does not limit the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content that applies to consumers in the European Union (Directive (EU) 2019/770).

8. Use of the content

The guides gather facts from the sources they cite and dimensions calculated by the programs of the site. They are do-it-yourself guides for private individuals: they are not a structural design, nor the advice of an architect, engineer or lawyer. Stay within the dimensions given and check every joint before use.

9. Complaints and mediation

Customer service: the email address of the seller above (answer by email).

Consumers resident in the European Union may refer a dispute, free of charge, to the consumer mediator designated by the seller, after a written complaint to the seller: CM2C (Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice), 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, www.cm2c.net.

10. Personal data

Your email address and order data are processed by the seller to deliver the documents and answer you; payment data stay with Stripe. Details are in the privacy policy (in French); you can write to the seller to exercise your rights.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. This choice does not deprive a consumer of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where they live.
